Customer Day Logistics: Disruptive changes in logistics

Market leaders presented their recipes for success

24th September 2019 in Heidelberg

We cordially invited you to our all-day Customer Day Logistics. On 24.09.2019, top-class speakers from world market leaders presented their strategies for successfully countering the massive upheavals in the logistics sector. Participants found out more about our customers' recipes for success and discussed how their companies can benefit from these strategies.

Successful in a disruptive world: Change management and digitisation

The term "disruptive changes" refers to innovations that replace existing successful technologies, products or services or even completely displace them from the market. Especially resource-poor companies have the opportunity to challenge large and established companies with disruptive technologies. Ultimately, these are changes that companies must face in an increasingly digitalised world. Issues such as erratic innovations, shorter product life cycles or agility also affect the logistics industry to a considerable extent.

The challenge now lies in anticipating future developments and strengthening the competitiveness of one's own company with progressive and tailor-made solutions. Since it is hardly possible to make a long-term prediction regarding the development of markets, dynamic strategies and processes are an essential success factor. This means that those companies that place high importance on the topics of change management and digital transformation in their organisation have a particular advantage.

During this event we showed you, based on the success stories of our speakers, how your company can successfully face disruptive changes. Participants discussed with the speakers from TCHIBO, Häfele, Hama, Puma, KIT Karlsruhe and Würth how to develop a suitable strategy for their company.

We were happy to welcome you on our customer day logistics.
