The United States is still Germany's most important trading partner outside the European Union. It offers considerable prospects for more growth. In addition to the higher economic growth in the USA compared to the euro zone, there is a huge sales market for products "Made in Germany".

At the same time, however, protectionist measures by the current US government, trade conflicts and higher administrative hurdles are leading to considerable uncertainty. For globally operating companies, the question arises as to whether investments should currently be made in the USA and, if so, what is the best approach.
